Riley Technologies is the manufacturer of the Starworks Motorsport Daytona prototype racecar. Since 2004, Riley cars have participated in 81 Rolex Series races, won 65 races, and scored 71 pole positions including 68 fastest race laps.

DINAN BMW ENGINE

Founded in 1979 by Steve Dinan, Dinan is well established as North America's premiere BMW tuner. Dinan develops, manufactures and markets a comprehensive line of high performance products and systems, distributed through a nationwide network of Authorized Dinan BMW Performance Centers that includes select BMW Dealerships and Independent BMW Service/High Performance facilities.

 

Starworks Motorsport is one of the teams using the Dinan-BMW engine in the 2010 Rolex Series. The 5.0 liter Dinan-BMW V8 engine is one of the most reliable and competitive engines in the series since 2003. Daytona Prototype teams using Dinan-BMW V8 engines have won three races and scored multiple podium finishes since 2006. Peter Baron and his team scored the last overall DP win with a Dinan-BMW engine in 2008 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with driver Ryan Dalziel. The Dinan-BMW engine in the Starworks BMW Riley is set to visit winner's circle again in 2010.
