Mike Forest 2010 Rolex Series Review
September 20, 2010
Mike Forest drove with Starworks Motorsport last winter and just finished his first full Rolex Series Daytona prototype season. Forest finished 10th in the 2010 Rolex Series season point standings. After leading 17 laps and scoring three podium finishes including two 2nd place at Lime Rock and Daytona in July with his teammate, Ryan Dalziel, the young Canadian speaks about his great season and already thinks about what the next 2011 Rolex Series with Starworks is going to be.

September 11, 2010
Starworks Motorsport drivers Mike Forest and Ryan Dalziel finished 5th in the final race of the 2010 Rolex Series season at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah. Forest And Dalziel All Out In Utah For The Season Finale!
September 8, 2010
Eleven races after its first race in Daytona, Starworks Motorsport is getting ready to enter the finale of the 2010 Rolex Series season. Saturday’s Utah 250 will be the last chance this season for Starworks Motorsport drivers Ryan Dalziel and Mike Forest to win their first race together. After the bad luck race they had in Canada two weeks ago, they plan to race full speed ahead at Miller Motorsports Park since unfortunately they have now lost all chance of finishing on the podium of the 2010 Rolex Series driver point standings. The 2010 championship was so competitive and any mistake or retirement in a race cost a handful of positions in the championship. This is the case for Ryan who was ranked 2nd in the championship before the last race and after the Montreal 250 mechanical incident that caused the retirement of the #8 car after only 8 laps, he slipped to 6th in the driver point standings. Mike Forest who was 5th before Montreal is now ranked 11th.

Bad Luck Struck Starworks Drivers In Canada!
After 8 laps in the Montreal 200, bad luck struck for the #8 Corsa Car Care Starworks Motorsport race car driven at the time by Canadian, Mike Forest. A ring and pinion failure stopped the potential winning effort of Forest and Dalziel and was costly for Ryan in the driver championship, who lost four positions. Since he too did not score points, Mike Forest is now 11th in the point standings. Following an ultra competitive showing in practice on Friday where Dalziel was one of the fastest drivers in all sessions and the fastest in the third session, the Starworks duo had extreme hopes for the race and the elusive first win for Starworks Motorsport was a true possibility.
The reliability of the team and their #8 car was phenomenal all season and this is really bad luck to have lost a gearbox in the race that could have been a celebration for the Fort Lauderdale based team owned by Peter Baron.
On Friday afternoon, Mike Forest, who did a superb job all weekend, qualified the #8 Starworks Motorsport BMW Riley in 8th place and started the race on Saturday. After a great series of laps and a first pit stop for a splash of fuel scheduled in Bill Riley’s potentially winning strategy, Mike felt that something broke in the back and turned off the engine. He was towed back to the pits and the mechanics found out the car would not be able to regain the race. The Starworks Motorsport Corsa Car Care finished 11th in DP.

Forest And Dalziel Hope To Sing “O
Canada*”
On The Montreal 200 Podium Saturday!
Only two races remain in the 2010 Rolex Series season and the two Starworks Motorsport drivers, Ryan Dalziel and Mike Forest are anxious to start the weekend and deliver their best performance of the season. For Starworks Motorsport the season so far has been brilliant. The team, re-launched by team owner, Peter Baron, in January, has made a lot of progress. Despite the #8 entry not entering or scoring points in the 1st round, after Watkins Glen three weeks ago, Starworks car entry #8 has moved to sixth in the team championship, only 8 points from 5th. The team’s goal is to use the last two races to make up some positions with one of its goals to finish in the top five in team points. The primary goal remains to push hard for Ryan Dalziel to win the Driver's Championship, and see his co-driver Mike Forest, in the top 3 in points when the checkered flag waves on September 11th in Utah which will be a fantastic accomplishment for the Fort Lauderdale, Florida team.

Starworks’ Forest and Dalziel Scored 4th At The Glen
After an epic race, Starworks Motorsport’s drivers Mike Forest and Ryan Dalziel finished 4th in the Crown Royal 200, 10th round of the 2010 Rolex Series. The #8 Corsa Car Care Dinan-BMW Riley did not have the best race of the season but thanks to a great job from the crew and excellent drive from both drivers, the #8 managed to turn a difficult day at Watkins Glen into another top five finish. This is the seventh top five finish for the #8 Corsa Car Care co-driven by Forest and Dalziel this season including five top 5 with three podium finishes in ten races. The #7 Sonax Starworks Motorsport Dinan-BMW co-driven by Bill Lester and James Davison encountered some problems in the last session on Friday afternoon and after one lap in the race was forced to retire and finished 13th in the DP class.

Starworks Motorsport Mid-Ohio Race Review
June 28, 2010
Last Saturday’s Mid-Ohio Rolex Series event saw the two Starworks Motorsport show great pace and unfortunate racing incidents that led the #7 car to finish 11th and the #8 car to finish 13th. The team left Mid-Ohio disappointed with the finishes after showing incredible potential from both car. Despite the finishes, the team accrued additional racing experience and confidence that they are getting closer to their first victory. Starworks Motorsport had both of its cars take turns in the lead. Mike Forest led eight laps in the #8 Corsa Car Care entry, while Nelson Philippe paced 18 laps midway through the race in the #7 Flex-Box BMW/Riley started by Bill Lester and Ryan Dalziel turned the fastest race lap of the event by .3 seconds!
